| I have had a hadfull of different bugs show up when optimising the simulations and its taken me a while to find out why they are here. i beleive i have addressed the issues with the RH models and i am just trying to figure out the differnce in the self heating models. it looks like the heating conditions are correct but the rest of the bulk is out by ~1nm.
I am currently investigating the cause of this.
I will start a the long run of different shield positions for the RH if we are happy to continue from this validation and hopefully next week we will have the data we need to proceed with finding the optimum power required for self heating correction vs shield position.
I also had a look at adding surface to ambient temperature on the 2 faces of the ITM. I added them to the ring heater model (Fig 2) and subtracted them from the PRL model without ambient. we can see the differnce isnt very large between the 2 models but going forward for a more accurate model i will include this in both the RH and Self heated models |
