MCMC Test with Synthetic Data |

| This corner plot was generated using the base finesse-ligo LLO model for the MCMC forward model. The prior distributions were centered around the base model's parameter values. Then each parameter was slightly perturbed according to their prior width and this perturbed instance of the model was used to generate a list of detector values. Each detector reading was then perturbed with 1% fractional error to simulate detector/calibration uncertainties.
From the plot, the sampler has a hard time recovering the test mass RoC's however it can recover the PRC mirror positions well. |
