The MR material was placed in the vacuum chamber following standard procedures to ensure the vacuum remained as clean as possible. During this process, we only opened the main volume while keeping the gate valve between the two volumes closed to maintain the UHV in the RGA section.

An RGA scan was taken before this process, this will be used to compare the state of the vacuum with the sample inside to determine whether the MR material is vacuum compatible.
